Developing Digital Asset Management Systems, Chulalongkorn University (phase 2)

This project consists of two main components: physical assets inside buildings and physical assets outside buildings.

Part 1: Physical Assets Inside Buildings

This part of the project focuses on buildings under the responsibility of the Office of Physical Systems Management. A total of 7 buildings will be studied:

1. CEN 062: Chamchuri 5 Building
2. CEN 068: Mahitaladhibedara Building
3. CEN 077: Chamchuri 9 Building
4. CEN 087: CU Sports Complex
5. CEN 088: Chaloem Rajakumari 60 Building (Chamchuri 10 Building)
6. CEN 089: Chulaniwas Building
7. CEN 099: Parking Building 1

Objectives of Part 1 include:

1. Updating the BIM models of the above buildings using available renovation data from the Office of Physical Systems Management, such as construction drawings from past renovation projects, as well as additional surveys conducted by the research team.
2. For each building, developing a dashboard using Power BI to display the following information:

1. Interior space data, clearly showing areas occupied by different departments, using distinct colors, dimensions, and other space-related details.
2. Building system data, where applicable, covering the following 9 systems:
1. Air conditioning
2. Passenger elevators
3. Water pump sets (including transfer pumps and booster pumps)
4. Sewage treatment system
5. Fire protection system (Fire Hose Cabinets, water inlets)
6. Electrical system (MDBs, load centers)
7. Emergency power system (generators)
8. Lighting fixtures
9. CCTV system

3. Developing a big data system for buildings managed by the Office of Physical Systems Management, building upon systems developed during the earlier project phase.

4. Proposing a carbon emissions assessment framework for existing buildings and recommending improvement measures toward transforming Chulalongkorn University's buildings into net-zero carbon buildings.

Part 2: Physical Assets Outside Buildings

Objectives of Part 2 include:

1. Collecting physical asset data to establish a centralized physical asset database for Chulalongkorn University.
2. Installing horizontal and vertical control points covering the entire university area.
3. Developing an online geographic information system (GIS) to present data related to physical assets outside buildings across the Chulalongkorn University campus.
